Classic Analog Bass
Bread-and-Butter AnalogThe workhorse Moog/Prophet-style bass: a raw, fast-moving low end built from a single oscillator's harmonics reinforced by a sub, then snapped into shape by a quick filter envelope so the attack has punch without staying bright.
- Oscillators - Osc 1 shape: saw or square; Osc 2 an octave down as sub reinforcement
- Mixer - Osc 1 and Sub high, Osc 2/Noise low or off
- Filter - Cutoff low-to-mid, moderate resonance, Env Amount high for a fast sweep
- Filter Env - Fast Attack, short-to-medium Decay, low Sustain, short Release
- Amp Env - Fast Attack, Sustain high enough to hold the note, short Release
