The page plays you a short line of glyphs — heard, not read — and you play it back on a MIDI keyboard, your instrument, or your voice. Match it, and the page illuminates; miss a note, and a scribe's correction mark shows you where. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere; all listening happens locally in your browser.
Headphones recommended — like the rest of the site, echo cancellation is left off so it doesn't distort a real instrument's signal, which also means your speakers can bleed back into an open mic during playback.
